Membership of Abbeyleix Golf Club is currently available at very reasonable rates.

A once off levy of €150 is included in the prices below.

New Loyalty Swipe Card System in operation from 1st January 2007 This applies to all Members and is a pre-requisite for membership.

This will cost each member €50. This is a deposit and will be added to your swipe card for use in the bar only. The deposit can be used to purchase Coffee, Tea, Soup, Sandwiches,T Shirts, Sweaters,Caps etc within the year.

Payment by card in the bar will enable members to receive discounts on some items purchased in the bar.You may top your card up over the bar at any time( min €20).This system was introduced to the Club to encourage all members to use the facilities of the club.

Membership Form

If you wish to apply for membership application forms are available in the Club House or you can click the link above.Completed Application Forms must be displayed on the Club House Notice Board for at least 10 days befor submission of the application to the relevent Sub -Committee.

The appropriate fees and subscriptions must be lodged with the Hon. Treasurer before the submission of the application to the Sub-Committee.

Membership does not commence until written notification of acceptance has been received.

An applicant who is a member of another Golf Club must provide a current Handicap Certificate from that Club before they can compete in any club Competition.

An applicant who does not have an official GUI/ILGU Handicap must submit 3 signed cards before a handicap can be assigned to them.

The Council of the Club may withdraw or suspend membership at any time should circumstances so require.

To qualify for country membership an applicant must permanently reside more than 7 miles from Abbeyleix Golf Club and must have and maintain full membership of another Golf Club affiliated to the GUI/ILGU.

If a country member wishes to upgrade to a full member he/she will have to pay whatever levy is in force at the time he/she upgrades

Note: Renewal of Membership must be paid on or before 1st March 2007, a penalty of €25 will be imposed on renewals after the 1st March 2007.

Special Deal: 2 Green Fees to all Full Members who pay subscription before 7th February 2007
